This is a video of the first dance at our wedding reception, which took place on April 23rd, 2009 in the Turks and Caicos Islands, BVI at the Beaches Resort. The video was shot by Fabian, the Beaches videographer. We were married in the sand on Grace Bay Beach, at a destination wedding with 44 family and friends in attendance. We 'tweeted' from the island at www.twitter.com/jessandtravintc.

Good job.Congrats.
i've been enjoying your blog for a few weeks and thank you for writing so frequently!
my husband and i were in cairo for nine months last year and we found that we could talk cheaply (free!) with our family and friends in the US using Skype. it was really convenient once we were able to convince our family and friends to also sign up for Skype.
take care!
I hate how this girl lost her dad. It's makes so sad inside because I still have both my parents and I spend every minute I can with them. And this little girl will never see her dad again because he”s in heaven. Its so sad how she says I'll leave the? light on just in case you come home and kiss me tonight. I love you so much and I miss you daddy!.

The video has a real feeling. Very natural and many feeling shots. Good job.
OMG, I’m in love with this wedding!
I've been to two weddings in the last year. Both had “The Luckiest” by Ben Folds as their first dance. Come on, guys. Let's get original with this. And, honestly, it's kind of creepy to have a song about an old man staring at a little girl on a bike playing as you slow dance. Just saying.
As for me, I'm going with Wreckx-N-Effect's immortal “Rumpshaker.”
Jeri, maybe I’m speaking from the male side of the issue. Yes, I remember the women from your list, but I also remember that they were mostly ignored (as beauties) by most except among Blacks. There were not a whole lot of non Blacks openly drooling over Cycely Tyson, even Diane Diane Carroll was seen as pretty “for a Black girl.” It’s not as if she was a pinup.
“I’m not dumb” ORLY? You made this video, right?
