Honestly, if you are looking to save money, Target just put out a line of wedding dresses that are pretty and simple.
You could also purchase a white dress in a department store and have it altered to fit you perfectly.
A nice way to cut costs on your wedding dress is to rent it. There are shops everywhere and rentals are normally under $50. Why spend hundreds of dollars on a dress that your going to wear once, and then store it in the basement?

Don’t be too proud to hit up consignment shops and thrift stores. Check online ads for people in your area that may be selling theirs – they might have even posted a photo. Ebay is a great place to look, too. You can get a real WOW-factor dress cheaply this way.
Just because it was used once doesn’t mean it would be scandalous to use it again (and no one has to know besides… it’ll look brand new!). Chances that you’ll actually “pass it to your future daughter” are pretty slim anyway, so don’t put too much weight on the sentimentality factor. It’s a dress that you’ll wear once and let sit in a box for the rest of it’s life.

DAVIDS BRIDAL ALOT OF TIME HAS $99 DRESSES THAT ARE USUALLY MORE SIMPLE THEN THE OTHERS.
That depends on how much you think is “cheap”.
I just bought my dress this weekend from David’s Bridal. I got a Monique Luo gown originally $1000 for $345! They also have those $99 sales, so if you are looking for a shorter and simple dress, you can find that relatively easy.
Depending on your size and shape, you may not even have to get it altered…so that saves you money as well.

So it depends on what you think is cheap. You could so marysbridal.com and get them starting around $300 or do like Deb’s for like $100 or less. It also depends if you want tradidal or not look around
It doesn’t necessarily have to be a wedding dress, it can
be any dress you like. Try going to the evening wear/formal
wear section of any large department store like Macy’s
and see what they have. I found a cream-colored dress that
would be perfect for a beach wedding for $99.
Or try eBay.
i think that target has a line of more casual wedding dresses designed by issac mizraha(sp?) check it out online.

I got my wedding dress at JC Penney. It was a beach wedding and I got a beautiful embroidered halter dress and had crystals sewn on for effect. It worked great all for less then $100.00. Good Luck!

Why not right after prom, but one of their white dresses when they go on sale. It will still be pretty but won’t be too expensive.
