Milwaukee Beach Wedding Locations?

by admin on March 13, 2010

‘d *love* to get married on the beach! Lake Michigan has played a HUGE part in both of our lives apart as well as together and I can’t think of a more perfect place to get married. The problem is that I can’t seem to find *anywhere* in Milwaukee to have a barefoot wedding!

Sure, there are plenty of places up towards Sheboygan, but almost everybody we’d like to invite (around 200 people!) live in Milwaukee County… most of them in the city proper.

Obviously it’d not only be easier for everybody to have it here in the city, but also safer since having a dry (no alcohol) wedding would probably end with Josh and I being beheaded by my dad’s side of the family.

If anyone can help me out, I’d really appreciate it.

And please, don’t tell me I posted this in the wrong forum. I was told to try reposting it in Travel because more people would know the area and be able to better answer my question.

Well I wouldnt go that far to say I would be MIA for the rest of the week. It probably feels like a lot of complaints coming your way, but I doubt they expect you to help them with their problems or even respond to the little stuff. They are just excited about your wedding and traveling and everything. Im sorry but as the bride, you really shouldnt go off the map… tell them they dont need to consult you on every little thing since you are busy, but dont leave them to their own devices. Theyre doing this all for YOU.

Hi Joel – Thanks for the feedback, that’s really helpful and you do make a lot of valid points, especially about travel affiliates. We definitely aren’t trying to rank for “Hawaii Hotels”. Those links are intended as a sitemap to help people find our review pages, many of which I believe we do have valuable, original content. As a concrete example following the Hawaii theme, we used to rank pretty well when someone searched for “Hale Koa Hotel” (a hotel in Hawaii).
